Matt Kudish is the Executive Director of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC), the largest affiliate of NAMI. NAMI-NYC helps families and individuals affected by mental illness build better lives through education, support, and advocacy.
Prior to joining NAMI NYC, Matt was the Senior Vice President of Caregiver Services at CaringKind – The Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving. Recognized for his expertise and dedicated leadership in the field of geriatrics, Matt is the recipient of the Emerging Social Work Leadership Award by the National Association of Social Workers, NYC Chapter and the Beatrice M. Goldberg Community Award by the West Side Inter-Agency Council for the Aging. Matt was also included in City & State New York’s 2019 Health Care Power 50.
Matt received his Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and his Master’s in Public Administration from New York University.
Dr. Raja M. David received his Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology (MSPP) in 2002. He initially worked at a community mental health center providing psychological services to children and families and supervising other clinicians. In 2010 he joined the core faculty at MSPP, and taught doctoral level, clinical psychology courses. He eventually served as the Director of Training and was most recently the Program Dean. In 2019 he founded the Minnesota Center for Collaborative/Therapeutic Assessment in St. Paul. His clinical work has focused on both psychotherapy and psychological testing, and he is board certified in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology (ABPP). Dr. David has provided consultation and training to other psychologists and has presented at local, national and international conferences. Lastly, for five years he served on the Minnesota Board of Psychology, including two years as Vice-Chair.
Mike Christy is the Senior Vice President of Ventures for UnitedHealth Group Research & Development, an innovation engine that tackles some of health care’s most complex problems. Mike leads a team that identifies and invests in game-changing products and companies. These investments include a small-business health plan that has grown into a nearly $1B line of business and UnitedHealthcare Motion insurance plans, which reward members for physical activity with money to pay healthcare costs.
Dr. Squinto has over 25 years of biotechnology industry experience and has received numerous honors and awards from academic and professional organizations for his scientific work. Dr. Squinto received his BA in Chemistry and PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Loyola University of Chicago. Dr. Squinto was a co-founder of Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and recently served as its Executive Vice President and Chief Global Operations Officer. Prior to 2013 he was Alexion’s Global Head of Research and Development. From 1988 to 1992, Dr. Squinto held various positions at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to Regeneron, he held a joint academic position at both the Tulane University and LSU Medical Schools. Since 2015, Dr. Squinto has been a venture partner at Orbimed, where he serves as a board member of a number of portfolio companies in the life sciences space.
David Hunt is CEO of Havas Lynx, the Cannes Lions Healthcare Agency of the Year, and author of the internationally acclaimed Healthcare Heroes. He is a recognized leader in healthcare communications having presented at Cannes, Harvard Business School and the Financial Times. His campaigns of note include Psoriaris360, the pharma industries first true social media campaign and MAP, which was clinically proven to halve the rate of relapse in schizophrenia through a suite of digital interventions. Mr. Hunt’s passion is in the transformation of local breakthroughs into universal solutions.
Dr. Georges Garnier is the Head of the Oncology and Hematology Department at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco. Dr. Garnier received his academic training at the Faculty of Medicine of Nice, he pursued his training in Hematology and then specialized in Oncology. He successively occupied a position in the Internal Medicine – Oncology team at the University Hospital of Nice, became Deputy Head of the Princess Grace Hospital Center and in 2007 Head of Department. He has participated in several French and international institutional clinical trials and is member of numerous Internal Medicine and Oncology Societies.
Dr. Åström is a Board Member of Rhenman&Partners Asset Management, Karo Pharma AB and Chairman of the Board of PledPharma AB. Previously he has led Astra Pharmaceuticals UK, Baxter Sweden and global operations within Kabi, Pharmacia and Pharmacia&Upjohn. He was CEO of KabiPharmacia during the acquisition of FarmItalia CarloErba. He has extensive experience in M&A and from leading global sales and marketing, manufacturing and R&D organizations. Åström has been Chairman of Affibody AB and Ferrosan AS. He has led several IPOs including Biovitrum/SOBI, Orexo and PledPharma. He has been Vice Chairman of Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm and member of the Novo Advisory Group.
Dennis Urbaniak is the Executive Vice President Digital Health at Orexo, where he is responsible for leading the company’s global digital health business through the development of digital therapies. Dennis brings over 25 years of driving patient and commercial successes in Life Sciences, both as an industry and professional services executive across multiple brands and therapeutic areas. Prior to joining Orexo, Dennis served as the Chief Digital Officer for Havas Health & You and CEO of Havas Health Plus, where he was responsible for global digital and innovation capability development and partnerships, along with operational P&L accountability for Havas Health Plus. Dennis held previous positions at Accenture as the Janssen Pharmaceuticals client account lead and various sales and marketing positions during his 20 years at Sanofi. His interests and expertise are in analytics, population health, patient services, community engagement, social media, and digital marketing.
Professor Patrick Rampal is the President of The Scientific Center of Monaco, the Principality of Monaco’s Scientific Research Agency. The Center conducts research in three departments: The Department of Medical Biology, the Department of Marine Biology, and the Department of Arctic Biology. Dr. Rampal’s role focuses on innovation in science and research, and the institute is committed to enhancing knowledge of the richness and fragility of the oceans and promoting their sustainable management and protection. Dr. Rampal is the former Head of the Gastroenterology Department at the University Hospital Center in Nice and at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco. Dr. Rampal previously served as Faculty Dean of Medicine in Nice and President of the French Society of Gastroenterology from 2001 to 2002.
Hans Mies is a Partner at KPMG, a multinational professional services network. Dr. Mies is responsible for implementing business models that meet the challenges caused by emerging developments in the areas of tax, regulatory, and broader industry trends in the life science and chemicals industries. Dr. Mies joined KPMG Netherlands in 2004, dedicating his time to pharmaceutical tax optimized supply chain and value chain conversions. After working at Nobel Biocare and Deloitte, Dr. Mies returned to KPMG Switzerland in 2015 to consult multinationals corporations in international matters such as growth strategies for clinical-stage biopharmaceutical companies, commercial strategy, and market entry and business model definition. Dr. Mies has assisted several biopharmaceutical companies in their definition of their expansion strategies into the European market. Dr. Mies received his LLM and PhD in International Tax Law at Tilburg University.
