Dominika Woch

After receiving a chronic kidney disease diagnosis of Granulomatosis Polyangiitis at the age of 15, Dominika became interested in medicine and the pathophysiological workings of the kidney. After a few months of peritoneal dialysis treatments, she was fortunate enough to receive a kidney transplant from her mom, which allowed her to return to college and live her life free from the machine. Upon graduating from college, Dominika started working as a Certified Hemodialysis Technician, where she witnessed the immediate need for change and innovation within the field, sparking her interest in patient advocacy. With a background in health sciences, personal and professional dialysis experience, and transplantation, and attributing her success as a patient to her incredible care team, she hopes that through education and awareness, the quality of care can improve for other patients as well. Dominika is excited to join Lyfebulb and continue to fight for change.
