Richard Gralla, MD
Dr. Gralla is currently the Director of Oncology Research, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Jacobi Medical Center, and Professor of Medicine, in New York. Dr. Gralla received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology and was a National Cancer Institute fellow in clinical research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Gralla is the author or co-author of over 250 scientific articles and book chapters. His work has been published in journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer, and Cancer Research. He has served on the editorial boards of Cancer, Lung Cancer, and Supportive Care in Cancer. He is a board member of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer and of the oncology section of the International Society for Chemotherapy. He holds memberships in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Association for Cancer Research, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, and the Oncology Nursing Society. Dr. Gralla is the Past-President of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer and Past-President of the New York Lung Cancer Alliance.
