Ian Welch

Ian spent a decade at Raymond James, managing a large fixed income portfolio. In 2011, at the age of 40, Ian was diagnosed with four major blockages and underwent a quadruple bypass surgery. Post-op he wrote a book, Instead of Flowers, focusing on transitioning to a healthier lifestyle and outline how to assume the CEO role of your own personal health. He is a generalist who thrives on making connections between people and ideas.

Ian currently is an active consultant/adviser on both coasts, with successful fundraising from non-profits to startup capital. He focuses on projects that will make an impact to human health & the health of our planet, from electric refuse trucks, electric airplanes, Type1 diabetes, mentorship for foster children, renewable energy and AI as it intersects with healthcare.

Ian has two young boys and can be found most weekends with his family somewhere involving a beach.
