Helayne Kushner joined Lyfebulb in 2018 as the Social Media Marketing Manager. She is responsible for Lyfebulb Ambassador relationships, content creation, copy, editing, engagement and marketing execution. She utilizes latest technique, tools, and outreach to provide dynamic and current social content.
Helayne brings over 5 years of experience in social media marketing, strategy, creative copy, and graphic design working for boutique brands and Fortune 100 Companies alike. Previously Helayne was a Staff Writer for Entity Magazine creating large scale internal projects as well as creating content, Socialyte Collective/NYLON Media contracted to Oribe Haircare during her tenure revitalizing the luxury hair brand’s social presence, Experiential Marketing Brand Rep for Allied Global helping film studios(Disney/Pixar, 21st Century Fox, Universal Studios) with B2C live events, Influence specialist at Marina Maher Communications/Proctor & Gamble managing community, influencer relations, and growth hacking for Herbal Essences and Head&Shoulders. She also creates freelance work in the form of graphics, art, and writing in her spare time.
She was driven to working with Lyfebulb as someone personally living with a chronic illness and being a recent double mastectomy survivor. She is passionate about advancing chronic illness advocacy through media and education. Her mission at Lyfebulb is to foster meaningful Ambassador relationships and raise the volume through social content on what it means to be someone thriving and surviving with a chronic disease or illness in today’s world.
Helayne received her B.A. in Liberal Arts & Communications at The New School University for Public Engagement. She is currently pursuing a professional certificate from Parsons: The New School for Art & Design in Digital Film Production in her commitment to advance towards the latest technologies and skills in social marketing.
